Abstract

Media convergence refers to the merging of various media technologies, industries, and content to create new communication forms. This phenomenon has significantly impacted the production, distribution, consumption, and monetization of media. Factors such as shifting consumer behavior, economic pressures, and technological advancements have led to media convergence. Digital technologies and the internet have blurred traditional media formats, making it easier to integrate multimedia content. Media businesses have also had to diversify their content delivery methods to stay competitive. This has led to a participatory culture, with content producers, distributors, and consumers interacting in a dynamic media ecosystem.
