Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

  The submission follows the Journal template, found on our website.
  
  The manuscript submission file should be in .doc (word) format only.
  
  Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
• Referencing styling:
  
  JMEA follows the Vancouver style of referencing.

• Table / Figure Format
  Table number should start from 1, 2, 3...... and Table caption should be above the table.
  Figure number should start from 1, 2, 3......and Figure caption should be below the Figure.
• Sections and Subsections
  Section 1 and further subsections can be written as:
  1. Introduction
  1.1........(if subsection available)
  1.1.1 ( for further subsection under 1.1)
  1.2
  Similarly section 2 and 3 and so on...
• Manuscript Template
  Size: The size of the paper shall be standard A 4; height 297 mm, width 210 mm.
  Layout: Single Column Only.
  Type Setting, Text Processing and Printing The standard font shall be Times New Roman of 12 pts. with 1.5 line spacing.
• Citation in the paper for an article/book in the manuscript body:
  Sobande [1]..............if only one author has authored an article
  Sobande and Arhibong [1] ..............if two author has authored an article
  Sobande et al. [1] ....if more than two author has authored an article
• Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
• The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
• The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
• The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
